Concept art of a cat.

Many cats are self-styled rulers who command over hired "muscle" and slaves. Their kin make up their dukes, who command forces made up mostly of dogs. The closest bodyguards are dogs raised from pups, and they are completely loyal to their cat masters.

History

In 1855 President Whiskerballs's army invaded the rabbit city of Carrotville. It stayed under cat rule until they ran out of yarn balls and sort of got bored and walked away. This began the great rabbit-cat war of 1856. Colonel Prettypaws stated (on the war) "Meow Meow MEow MeOw Mew mew Meow." His speech in late august of 1856 where the quote is taken from was one of the driving rallies for the cats. The Reich minister of propaganda Senór Cutseyclaws created some of the many films that were crucial to the recruitment of young kittens Including the Fancy Feast commercial series and "keyboard cat".

Warfare

Cats are very noble characters who do not like to get their hands dirty. This character trait affects their combat style by making them stray to armed combat, prefering the use of fencing swords or tapered knives. This greatly improves their medium to close ranged combat but places them at a great disadvantage when without a weapon as they are so reliant upon it. The cats fighting style with the sword would be very similar to that of a fencer or trained swordsmen prefering skill and precison in the use of their weapons over brute strength, commonly used by the dog.
